The beauty of literature

Writing is an art, like other formations of art. Here are some of writing reflect of artistic writing in Chinese as we sometimes can see advanced English literal writing that reflect writer's decent level of talented writing skills and the wised mind behind the words and sentences.

In many reading materials, I always can see the belief as of whatever language Western world can not read or understand the beauty of that language, and then that culture or civilization equals non-existing. In contrary to the Westerns, I felt good I can appreciated the beauty of Chinese language and the fantastic asset of its culture, for sometimes they provides various extra space for me to enjoy the spiritual richness more than others can.

愛讀書的人未必有錢多金、未必功業彪炳、未必情場得意、未必家庭幸福人生美滿，然而每當橫逆來襲，挫折迎面之際，他們總比不讀書的人多了一份餘裕的迴旋空間和從容的應對姿態!

Well said! This is the 生活價值 spiritually. This is traditionally Chinese scholar style way of living, this idealism passed down onto you, me, million of us... It is this belief that lead our lives living on in high spirit from generation to generation.... It is probably also is what you said the spirit of Taiwan. I am searching the solution about the problem of 生活價值 materially as the example I addressed. Quality of material in our living place reflecting our 生活價值.

As we can not meditate, forcus on spiritual life, in a gabage dumpsite. And I do wish place my brain in a clearner container. In fact, as we can see usually is the big boss or big business owner can have the money to put their brain in a cleaner container. We, as an ordinary person and plus if live in Chinese society, will definately can not afford a clearner container to put our lives into it. In order to afford a clearner living place, everyone in developing country needs to chase money with all skills plus lie and do whatever they could to steal for it. Who causes this? Government.

Why people in developing countries apply green card want to move to a developed country? Becasue the better material living environment that includes cleaner, better designed, better built, better managed, every solid materials as hardware and the design/management as software in the living environment. Chinese has very high density in population in living sapce, that might includes whole Asia.

While the living space is so jampacked, combined with the whether of 3/4 seasons a year are stormy raining time. Molds and fungus is an inevitable living condition, if there is no scientist in Taiwan has the brain to figue out the solution. Does Taiwan has scientist? I am not talking about the scientist making computer chips, I am talking about the scientist working in the fields of living environment quality improvement. Thank you.

What is American Culture to those people outside of the United States can see? Popular sitcom, movie, movie star, rock stars, famous celebrities..........those people who under spot light......

Who truly lay the foundation of this country to be strong and solid? Many of them working in each fields behind the stage that spot linght can't reach; they focus on precisely measurement and labor. Magnificent highway bridge, cross continent traffic network, famous landmarks, high sky rises.....from idea to meetings, to projecting, to blue print, to physical labor working on field, to complete the project.

What we usually can see is the photo picture of celebration of the completed product, a completed project with confetti party. We can't see those faces with solid knowledge bond with the mind of precisely determination to physically working on the project. The Sleek style from Apple again.

The thinnest notebook launched in March 2008.

The day I received the Ad from mail, opened it and still couldn't help with a "wow"; even though, I am belong to the group of consumers couldn't afford it. This article is not product promoting, for I personally don't have any Apple products. Let's just talking about designing here.

The mailed Ad designed interestingly with a 9'x12' yellow envelope with the introduction image of the world thinnest notebook just fit right into this envelope.

The design work from Apple always give people a undeniable "cool" look. We all know Mr. Steve Job has very good taste in developing his series of Apple products. Let's see the designing part to introduce a person behind the scene about another Apple product here:

The recent Time magazine "What's Next" issue reminded me of a great article I read years ago in Fast Company about Jonathan Ive's approach to design. "而自尊則大多來自他人的認同" We want to feel proud of ourselves, and earn respect from others, but we do more care what is important to us, to our lives. For an individual person like me, I couldn't afford to earn recognition from everybody, that will take too much work for me to pleasing people. I just work and live with my own standard I feel comfortable with, it might not be other people's standard, and I can not ask everybody to keep up or lower down their standard to comply with mine. If they feel happy keep same level with me or being around, that we can has a chance be friends.

This book has one sentence I think is a pretty good insight for a person with Mr. Greenspan's age to said: "Age will change our ambition and goal, which might different from our ideal dream when we were young." Many politicians originally has very high dream to get into the fields of public works, they met numerous obstacles, temptations, gradually their dream fading away in the middle of somewhere, they in the end forgot what drive them into here, or they do not think that dream is important anymore. It is really not easy.

Taiwan lack of leaders that willing to lift up a higher living standard for its citizens, who live in that uncomfortable climate. I sometime blame the religion of Buddhism working too hard in that small island to convince people unconditional take-in, accept what you can have. Buddhism convince people not to have desire to work for a better life. Their theory is stopping people looking for technology and better equipment to create a more comfortable life to live. When everyone accept what they can have, government don't need to work for better or higher standard of living. White world has better leaders to take care of their white people's life, so everyone in developing country all wants to immigrate to white world. But, looking at the citizen in white world; they still complain about their leaders. They are not Buddhism, they will always supervise their learders to work on looking ways to better their lives.

When I live in Asia, I used to feel funny when I am reading book about the describing name of these: Near East, Middle East, East, Far East........ Where is the standing point of these locations being named?.............Where am I when I reading these names of locations?

When we read books published in Western world, we can always see the map layout like this. Which continents is closer to the concern of decision makers, or the book writer's consideration of story setting? In the begining, I felt sad of being left out. Now, I get used to with this and I think different when I get older.

Chinese proverb said: "Distance is farther, emperor is farther, controlling is farther." Today we might need to think distance keep safety between human's relationship, countries as well. I sometime just turning aroung to find another reason make myself happier to redefine the Westerner's point of view when I disagree with it.

Thank God give me the wisdom I need to rethink and redefinate something bothered me. When the outside world can't change, we change ourself.
