Discussion about China is not as good as you think on I-Reading
I do agree with China or any ruling unity will never be kind enough to treat others when fighting for survive. Taiwan is an small island locating along the Pacific Rim, while China is a big unity that no one can ignore them; even United States can not ignor this country. Can Taiwan be more influencical than USA per your point of view?
Should Taiwan face it this fact or turn to look at Japan as former Prisident Lee try very hard to guiding Taiwan?
In the very near future in 20 to 50 years, Japan need to pay their attention to China's market as the same way they do in USA, or you think Japan will plan to clean up China as they did in World War II? What is your point of view that Taiwan need to stand behind Janpan when facing China's status in this world?
What Taiwan should do is to prepare themselves to gain the competition skills as Japan, and to explore more business opportunities consturct interlocked with China that will be a no choice direction to go for Taiwan due to the geological connection, so do to all the countries in Asia.
40 yeaers passed, Taiwan still do not have any brand name product can be seen in USA market; in the mean time, look at Japan and Korea, look at their advanced eduction training and technology.
Taiwan spent 20 years on arguing their citizens are Taiwanese or Chinese while Japanese and Korean busy on training their young people to occupy USA's market.
