Hate crime education in USA.
When we look over the labor history in the United States, we found the first big labor war this country had is the war of independence due to refuse to being paid cheap without enough profit to satisfy American, which had successfully led this country cessation from U.K.to became a very strong and big sized territory on this earth.
The second biggest labor war is the Civil War, which caused by the slavery labor that North side against South farming industry. The shortage of cheap labor in the beginning of established time flourished the slavery trade, up to the end of the Civil War and today the population of Black originally brought into this country has shared one third with White and Mexican while most Asian majorly Chinese American are being excluded on the very far small corner.
Mexican is the third major labor force that brought into this country, has never caused any war (Mexican/Amrican war is not a labor war) due to Mexican moderate personality, which population has been quietly and widely spread throughout the whole nation due to the labor needed in farming and construction fields. Sometimes I even think the increased population bonded with social services is one kind of pay check or bonus that US government gave to Mexicans due to their labor contribution. So, while I am walking on the street in San Jose, CA, it is really like walking on the street in Mexico.
Every time when unemployment issue is discussing on the table, Mexican unfortunately became a targeted victim. Is blaming Mexican labor force can really solve White's unemployment problem? Can finding someone to hate make American more happy? Or the hatred spread widely in this nation make people feeling safe? When there is hate everywhere that really make me feel unsafe to live in this country, so today we can see more and more community with iron gate.
Usually is Whites do not want to accept the pay that Mexican got, that is the reason business owner need to import or hire Mexican to fill out the working spot. Due to the thick profit will not pay high enough to most of Whites, that is the reason cheap labor market need to bring in more labor from outside of this country or outsourcing to other country.
I once to complain the Chinese American sweat shop in Oakland where people work over day and night and get paid under minimum wages. Then once the authority clean up the sweat shop, most worker lost their job so they do not even get that below minimum wage's paid to feed their family.
This lesson taught me as long as you got income to sustain your family's life, thinking about accept any legal pay check. Low income is better than no income.
I used to hate very much about American's game playing when negotiate business with American, who will always take the business opportunity first, and then starting play game to increase cost and price. This is very different from Chinese society business rule which of cause end up we do our best not to get involved with American educated Whites or whatever color's Americans.
Chinese will make oral agreement while both side agree with a deal, if the price or cost one side has considered unacceptable, they will refer you to someone they know who might accept the price to work for you. On the contrary, American will always complain didn't get enough pay and even need to bring business to the court and still continue to argue and not able to keep their words, or play some trick to worsen your work.
Every time we all point someone for something, American usually is the loudest one. How to keep in mind low income is better than no income to feed your family. Can this business notion be changed or the game playing culture will still continue on to influence this nation? Or the reasonable profit, adjusted labor cost, and close the hourly pay gap in this society will be new lessons to teach in the MBA's class?
