Kennedy withdraw the Senator candidacy seat

I always wonder what is the reason that this country, especially in east coast where people crazy about European style of Royal family fantasy, but seems always hesitate in accepting the second generation of big name family to continue in the same fields of career.
Kennedy is within one of the prohibited famous big name family member, as we followed the news drama of senator seat bid.
What is the reason?
What is the concern of this country's governmental machine?
What is the reason the media manipulate the big name sensitivity?
I was discussing with my husband the morning of Inauguration Day while we were watching the process on TV, we sometime discuss, debate, argue, fight over issues in different point of view.
Then one thought came out of my mouth, and finally I think I solve the puzzle.....Obama' background story and the whole Civil Right struggle history bring out the result to my wonder....this is a country that everyone could earn his or her opportunity....it is this belief that keep this country moving forward....Big name can not and should not occupy any opportunity for only the reason of the big name.
Even though I do think Caroline Kennedy is a graceful lady that rarely seen in political field; especially with her father's irresistible reputation. This country is a big drama stage, no one knows what is the episode going to be on stage tomorrow.
The operation of this governmental machine with its unique belief is working to prove the definition of Democracy. Many of governmental beliefs took WWI and WWII in almost 100 years to prove whose belief works for their countries and their people. United States is the leader of this world and try to work on proving the democratic system will work well if the governmental machine control precisely.
Is this guess on the right track especially when I was so fed up with the over drama control game plays?
