Art Teachers

I am very surprised that my newly taking art class has a talented teacher. Many of paintings I have seen that working on illustrating rainy street scene, no one so far can do such talented work to draw pouring rain water vividly like this and demostrate the old, classic, garceful New York city in such rich color.

And this teacher is given the position by school as "Instructor" in comparing to another teacher from New York with the title of "Professor" telling studens in class like me that I have language problem to be in classroom learning painting. This New York professor has a linked works here. http://www.kenney-mencher.com

the work shown below: http://www.jwstudio.net/lotus.html

The vibrancy that each stroke of color on canvas bring the warmth of love to life and the splendid skill....

Maybe you don't know what you're talking about. Maybe you should ask your Chinese professor why he is just an instructor. Maybe the kind of art he makes only appeals to some people. His artwork does nor express any ideas.

You should go to his studio look all over the works, then make a more well-rounded comment. If you still can not see any meaning, that will be your own problem about level of art appreciation.

The level of perception while you view somthing differed, your level might only be at American cartoonish drawing and story.

What is the idea of the first student's work you can see with the level of understanding of art you possess?
