My father in the equally poor China---Please stop accuse Chinese to make up Tibetans as a victim.
Tibetans have never live worsen than Chinese under the same government ruling.
Be a witness, go to China see it yourself !
This photo is shot in 1980 in the north of China, the first time my father returned to his hometown from Taiwan after almost 40 years apart from his hometown, which town has been ruined majorly by wars . If we compare this living condition to Tibet in this equally poor country, no matter which part you live in China. What would you think? Tibetan did not be treated as a sub-group under China's ruling, all of visitors whoever has been traveling in China in the past of 1-100 years can be a witness about the living condition of this equally poor country.
My another uncle live in the most biggest city of Shaing-Hai in the south of China, who sat at the position in charge of one of major governmental departments who also live in an apartment with very horrible condition as I see the pictures that is taken by my father in 1985.
With deep regret and sorrow that my father has, for leaving his family in 1945; he restlessly helped them in 1985, majorly in fiance, his brother who is in navy blue uniform, and his sister in middle, rebuild a new house after almost 40 years separated from each other since WWII and Chinese Civil War.
Now my father had past away, but this is his real life waht we bonded with it. No one in Western world can make up any story to misleading me about WWII story and the living condition of the post war of China.

Many of my friends in Silicon Valley who came from China with the father as professor in Beijing University whose living condition is same as my uncle does.
China has started to change and starting on housing reconstruction program in the recent 10 years and still working rapidly to remove old and torn buildings in order to carry out their housing program to have people move from old apartment to new one, which I am witnessing this change since 2001 the first time traveling there till now.
