聞名華文世界的作家柏楊，廿九日凌晨一點 十二分，因呼吸衰竭病逝於新店耕莘醫院，享 壽八十九歲。妻子張香華與家屬決遵其遺願， 將於十七日把骨灰撒入綠島附近海域。柏楊生 前戲稱他的骨灰撒進海裡後，台灣海峽「不妨 就改名為柏楊海峽吧！」如今斯人已矣，憶風 趣言談，令人唏噓。

廿一世紀是一個大覺醒時代，勞工終於了解，利益爭取，應通過法律；資本家也終於了解，利潤不在剝削，而在開發；政府也終於了解，它最可貴的功能是協調和仲裁。社會由獨佔發展到共享，由鬥爭發展到競爭，由衝突發展到溝通。

This is a generation of survivors of WWII, and by seeing them we can see how people live through all of difficulties during and after war. Looking back of those disasters happened in human society, we , as next generation to them shall working on a better and brighter future based on the foundation they have try to build on for us, which probably is not good enough but the most appropriate attitude for us is to remain courtesy of respect to their courage in facing hardship in their lives and working on the road lay ahead of us. Don't we?
